On the ESF Employability Pipeline programme, our Employability Providers have positive relationships with many employers in Perth & Kinross. These connections mean that employers can fill vacancies more easily and we can help the people who come to us for support and advice.

Here is a selection of the many positive feedback comments we’ve received from those employers.

Glenalmond Timber Company

“Our close links with The Employment connections Hub ESF team have enabled our company, Glenalmond Timber, to give an employment opportunity to two of The Hub's
ESF clients who are currently working with Karen (Employment Support Advisor at The Hub ESF) on the ESF Employability pipeline.

“Due to the current impact of Brexit, budgets within the company are tight so we need support in order to recruit. Without the funding from The Hub ESF Wage Subsidy, recruitment of these candidates would not be possible.
“The money we receive in ESF wage subsidies is reinvested in training for the candidates whom we recruit from the pipeline. The candidates we have taken on are showing great promise. All the team at The Hub give Glenalmond Timber great support and through this, Glenalmond Timber was mentioned in a debate in parliament on the Disability Confident Scheme by Luke Graham MP.”

A&S Properties

“I would like to give The Hub and Lesley English this testimonial for providing me with fast, efficient support in finding me a great candidate last year.

“I put this down to the team at The Hub ESF, Perth, listening and finding me the right person for the job and offering support to me the employer; I’d highly recommend the team.”

PUSH Charity Reuse Centre, Perth

“Lesley English and the staff at The Hub ESF have been a good source of information when it comes to offering work placements to older adults through local funding schemes. We have worked in partnership with The Hub and all of the people we have had on placement and/or have been referred by The Hub, and have come with the skills suitable for the PUSH advertised Warehouse positions. This in turn has allowed them to grow in confidence, play a part at PUSH and excel in their role. The people have the want to learn and a skills base ready for the job."

“We will continue with our partnership with The Hub as they are a valuable resource when it comes to employability skills and solutions.”

Stephen Murray, Training Manager at PUSH Charity Reuse
